Design Retainer

If you’re a company that needs to churn out a lot of graphic work, like social posts, ads, or Powerpoints, we can handle that. We’ll act as your in-house designer, providing you with anything and everything you may need, every month. This gives you the flexibility without having to pay for a full-time designer.

Now, you probably have some questions.

Sure! You’re welcome to add on a content revision service, where we’ll make sure everything is grammatically correct (hello, Oxford comma!), not too short and not too long, and is using phrases that will resonate with your audience.

Otherwise, we will be producing your graphics with the content as is.

This is very dependent on what you need done. Each project has different elements and requirements. If there’s an emergency, we’ll most likely be able to provide you with something within a 24 hour timeframe, but we do add rush fees.

Once we meet, we’ll put together a sheet of deadlines for you so you can know when to expect specific milestones on larger projects. We’re very transparent with our process, which means you’re never stuck guessing where something is.

No, your final files will be delivered as standard PDFs, JPGs, or PNGs, depending on your projects’ needs. If something is being sent to print, we will provide PDFs will embedded images, outlined text, and bleeds.

If anything needs to be adjusted post-project, we can absolutely do that. Most clients just need a quick text or typography update, and we’re happy to make most small fixes free of charge. 

No, we do not use Canva. While Canva can be a great tool for designers starting out, it doesn’t offer the capabilities we often need in order to provide our high-quality work. Cozort works exclusively with Adobe products.

Almost! Our retainers cover up to 40 hours of work, where no more than 10 hours can be used in the last 5 business days of the month. Our designers work really quickly, so you can expect to get quite the bang for your buck with the retainer. 

And you don’t need to worry about paying for a full-time designer for times there’s no work – you’ve always got us in your pocket. We can always add more hours if you need to go over, as well, but only 5 unused hours will get carried over into the next month.

Payment plans can be offered on a case-by-case basis. We do require a 50% nonrefundable deposit upon the signed contract, and 50% to be paid on the completion date. For those needing a payment plan, the 50% deposit is still due upon signing. Payment plans are not available for retainers.

Well, the best part about working with us is that we’re a partnership. It’s not “our way or the highway.” If you don’t like our initial design, we’ll have a call to chat about what went wrong. But we do have a pretty hefty design strategy call before we begin the project so we have a good idea of what you want, so this likely won’t be an issue.
